Credit management tutors

Mrs Sally Holmes - FLD

Sally successfully completed both the Finance House and Banking Diplomas with RRC, being awarded the McKenna Memorial Prize for the latter. A former Senior Credit Manager with an HSBC subsidiary, Sally has extensive experience of all key financial management issues.

Mr Garry Holder - MCIPS, Cert Ed

Garry is Course Leader for the CIPS Programme at an FE College and has developed an Open and Flexible Study option for this course. He has also developed the NVQ in Procurement at the College. Garry is an experienced trainer, delivering on-site training to numerous major clients on an ongoing basis. He also lectures on a wide range of subjects in the Purchasing and Management areas.

Mr David Jones - BA (Hons) Cert Ed

David is a Senior Lecturer in Law at a College of Technology with over twenty five years teaching experience. David has been Chief Examiner, Examiner and Moderator for various examination boards including SEG, RSA, ABE and AAT.

Mr Peter Haywood - BSc (Econ) BD ACIS Cert Ed

Peter has worked as an accountancy lecturer for a number of colleges and now works as a freelance tutor and writer.

Mr Raymond Taylor - ACIS ACIB FFA FIAB Dip.Distance Ed

Raymond qualified, gaining a top banking prize, through his studies with the RRC. Once in retail banking, he is now a consultant for clients in education and business. He has extensive experience in distance learning.

Marketing tutors

Mrs Val Brown - MCIM, DipM, CertEd, Chartered Marketer

Val is a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and experienced Marketing Manager. She is an examiner for the CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.

Mr Gordon Jones - DipM MCIM

Following a long career in senior management positions in advertising agencies Gordon set up his own Marketing Communications consultancy in 1992. He now works for a very varied client base in both the private and public sectors. He is an examiner in Advertising for the CAM Foundation and a past examiner in Marketing Communications for the CIM Diploma in Marketing.

Mr Frank Gillman - PhD, MCIM, ACIM, MISMM, MNIH

Mr Peter Hopgood - MA MCIM

Peter is an International Marketing Consultant and has held Senior Management positions in Marketing. He is also a Lecturer in Marketing at Universities and Colleges.

Mr Jeremy Woods - BEd. Dip M. MSc. MCIM ILTM Chartered Marketer

Jeremy is a CIM examiner with a background in retail management and marketing within the fashion industry. Jeremy has been a University and College lecturer in marketing, with particular emphasis on CIM programmes, since 1988.

Mr Brian Lewis - BA (Hons) Dip M MCIM

Brian has wide commercial management experience gained with multi-national and medium sized industrial companies.

Mr John Crossley - Dip Dist Ed, Dip M, MCIM, FISTC, LCGI

John has over thirty years experience in selling and marketing consumer and industrial goods and is currently engaged in marketing on a freelance basis. His qualifications were obtained through study by correspondence course and he is still studying.

Mrs Beryl Butler - MBA, BA (Hons), HNC, MInst.SMM

Beryl gained sales and marketing experience during a 20+ year career in international companies and teaching experience over 10 years.

Mr Keith Laity - BA, MILTHE, M.CAM

Keith started his working life after University in recruitment, then in advertising, working first on the media side and subsequently on the agency side. He began teaching in Higher Education in 1988, at first part time, put then become full time in 1992. After six years at Manchester Metropolitan University. He now teaches marketing and Public Relations at the College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth.

Mr Frank Withey - BA MA

Frank is a full time lecturer in economics and marketing at a University. He has many years experience in preparing students for degree level and professional examinations.
